A grant of $500 and a citation shall be awarded to an active VAASL member who has been accepted to do a presentation at AASL. The winner will be honored at the annual conference in November.

The candidate must not be a recipient of this identical award the previous three years.

Application Must Include

• A letter from the candidate stating briefly why he/she wants to attend AASL.
• Copy of the AASL session proposal (with VAASL logo on any handouts) submitted to the review committee
• Official notification of acceptance from AASL or notification of being in the acceptance process with final acceptance notification due to the Scholarships and Awards committee chair by April 15 or as soon as notifications are sent out by AASL.
